Heike Temme holds a PhD in chemical engineering and is admitted as European Patent Attorney. She has performed her studies at the Hamburg University of Technology and acquired her PhD in the field of biocatalysis as part of a research program jointly with Südchemie AG (today Clariant) and Merck KGaA. Due to several long-term assignments in France and the UK, she is fluent in French and English.
Heike joined the firm in 2013 and is since then active in the field of intellectual property rights. In her current role Heike supports multinational companies as well as small and medium-sized enterprises in drafting and filing patent applications and prosecution of patents. In addition she is leading opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office and is providing validity and infringement opinions.
Her expertise lies in the fields of chemical and process engineering and automotive technology with focus on bio process engineering, separation technologies, plastics engineering, catalysts, fuel cells and energy storage.
